Thanks to some super creative people on Etsy, we now have a variety of crafty terrarium options to “capture” and display our favorite Pokemon.
Though, just to be clear, we’re being pretty loose with the word “terrarium” here…
We may not have much in the way of live plants, but who needs them when we have beautiful materials like stained glass, resin, crystals, and preserved plants?
In this guide, we’ll be covering some of the best Pokemon terrariums you can buy right now – grouped (somewhat) by type.

The Best Pokemon Terrariums on Etsy
1. Pokeball Terrariums (Desktop Pokemon Ball Terrariums)
First up, Pokeball terrariums.
As the most common type of Pokemon terrarium on Etsy, there’s a lot to choose from here. They seem to come in every possible critter combination, each with its own unique flavor and style.
Let’s start with Pocketworlds.
For me, nothing invokes Pokemon nostalgia quite like the original starter Pokemon – and these little beauties are amazing!
Whether you chose Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander for your GameBoy adventure all those years ago, they’re now available in Pokeball form right here.
(Though personally, I ran with Pikachu on Pokemon Yellow – maybe I like a challenge?).
Each Pokemon comes surrounded by a beautiful little floral/crystal scene that highlights their element and key features.

Okay, so we’re really stretching the term “terrarium” here, but these things are so creative I’ll absolutely allow it.
A Nintendo DS-turned-planter has no business being this good. 😂

Last but by no means least, we have something very different from Supball.
